To further advance our mission at MICN to “strengthen the international church movement for missional impact,” and in alignment with the theme of the 4th Lausanne Movement“Let the Church Declare and Display Christ Together,” we are pleased to announce a formal collaboration agreement with Alpha (tryAlpha.org). As many of you may already be familiar with Alpha—or have even engaged with it firsthand—working with Alpha provides a significant opportunity to enhance our collective impact. A brief overview of Alpha is included below.

We firmly believe this initiative will play a vital role in advancing the Great Commission, particularly given our unique challenges and opportunities of ministering to highly international congregations. We strongly encourage you to join us for these sessions and explore how Alpha can support our shared mission.

Trusting that this partnership will make our shared task as MICN to strengthen the international church movement for missional impact more effective.

Note: Alpha was first introduced in the 1990s as a course designed to support new believers in understanding and exploring their faith in a welcoming and non-intimidating environment. It provides a platform for open dialogue, allowing participants to ask questions and receive thoughtful answers. Over time, Alpha evolved into a dynamic evangelistic tool, equipping churches and communities to invite, engage, and connect with non-believers, guiding them toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Today, Alpha operates as a global ministry, with courses available in over 75 languages and running in diverse contexts worldwide. In addition to the core Alpha experience, the ministry offers specialized resources such as Alpha Youth, as well as programs tailored for family life, including Marriage, Pre-Marriage, and Parenting courses.
